Dave Bloom's Other Home Movies

In addition to the Movette film shot in the early 1920s, Dave Bloom made a number of home movies in the 1930s and 1940s, some of which were shot using color film. Once again, the final editing was done by me, and most of the narration was done by my mother, Naomi Bloom Rothschild, who spent many hours identifying friends and family members who are long gone and who might otherwise be forgotten. The narration of the film of the trip to Chicago was done by Lester Rosen, who was on the Illahee for that trip in 1941
